Didn't give me cash, but charged my account. Bank of America customer service was completely useless and basically stole my money.
Bank of America is the worst. They wait too long to process transactions and it makes it impossible to use your account without accidentally putting it negative because you don't know the actual balance. They also tack on charges from nowhere and have too high of an overdraft fee. They're trash and I don't recommend them.
I, recently cancelled my personal account with them, over monthly maintenance fees. When I attempted to address the issue with a banker the conversation was redirected to moving my business accounts to them, I advised not a current concern. I failed to cancel all my automatic transactions, clearly my fault, I called had the matter corrected and went in to clear up the resulting overdraft. The following month, another oversight, a PayPal account I wasn't aware that was still active on my daughter's phone resulted in another overdraft. I went in and asked to speak with a banker to see if the fee could be waived as I had thought I no longer had an account. Again, back to my business account and even how they could help me with my new store and a merchant account. When I asked about the fee, not possible to waive. I excused myself and called customer service from my car. Poof, it was gone. I went back in to pay the balance of the draft, minus the fees. Chris, the teller was very helpful every time, and other were a few, I went in. He advised me of the method to permanently close the account and the world was a happy place. Chris provides outstanding service and that I appreciate very much.

I have only been to the Rochester office twice now, but both visits have been extremely positive. Michelle C. in particular is awesome and provides superior customer service. She is not only friendly and personable with her customers, she is very knowledgeable, and took the time to really explain everything and answer all of my questions and I never felt rushed. Michelle genuinely cares about her customers.
